Particularly with both "above the fold"

Fergie engaged to actor Josh Duhamel

What? You mean CNN broke away from the "Shocking New Developments in the Deadly Tiger Rampage" to cover the Bhutto assassination? I guess they follow the adage "if it bleeds, it leads," and the assassination tragedy bleeds more than the deadly tiger rampage.

I also like the juxtaposition today and yesterday of "Elusive Actor Reappears" within the coverage - giving the impression that Daniel Day-Lewis actually popped up in Pakistan to be a part of the assassination story. The tiger thing is shocking and sad. The Fergie engagement is "nice, good for them" but really belongs on TMZ and Perez. But the Bhutto assassination is horrific with global consequences. It's like an Onion front page that all these headliens are sharing space.
