Actually I don't think this concept is too bad. I'd rather see things like Automats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automat) than just the stand-alone vending machines however. The Automat is making a comeback I hear. I'm waiting for some to make their way to DC Metro. The issue with the vending machines are you have hot dogs or pizza not exactly the best food to be getting.
